I love the view of the marina at Falmouth with the boat yard in the background feeling quite industrial whilst in the foreground you have the ferry trips bobbing in and out all day long… a bit of a departure for me in this piece as not only is this created on canvas (I usually work on wood) but you will have noticed the addition of people too which i tend to exclude from my work but felt necessary in this narrative. The canvas also gives a wonderful texture, please see the detailed images.
