This piece was originally part of the collection - Days Like These - at Zillah Bell Gallery. With so many delicate details inspired by one of my all time inspirational artists, there are many references to Lowry but in particular the painting above the fireplace. When I was growing up our walls at home were covered in cheap reproductions of Lowry’s work and I was fascinated.
